The COVID pandemic, which has now lasted for over a year, continues to pose unusual problems for association life. Nevertheless, the clubs and associations must remain capable of acting even in the pandemic and their decision-making bodies must make essential decisions - especially now in the crisis. To this end, since March 2020 and also recently for 2021, the legislator has created multiple facilitations for the conduct of general meetings and the resolutions of the association bodies. These are available to the association board until the end of 31.12.2021 even without a corresponding authorization in the association statutes.
The article by Cherkeh in the current issue of the specialist journal "Sciamus - Sport und Management" (issue 1/2021, p. 1 ff.) entitled „Beschlussfassungen im Verein während der Corona-Pandemie – (weitere) Erleichterungen durch den Gesetzgeber“ ("Resolutions in the association during the COVID pandemic - (further) facilitations by the legislator") deals with these issues.
