In its issue of 10 February 2023, WirtschaftsWoche awarded our law firm the title of "Top Law Firm 2023" in the area of "Sports Law". In addition, our partner Prof. Dr. Cherkeh was highlighted as "Top Lawyer 2023" for "Sports Law".
For the award, the Handelsblatt Research Institute surveyed more than 500 sports lawyers from 333 law firms. The individual professionals were asked to name the most renowned law firms and lawyers in their legal field. Subsequently, a jury of experts reviewed and analysed the nominated lawyers and filtered out 24 law firms and 34 highly recommended lawyers for sports law.
We are very happy about this award, which motivates our sports law team a lot!
Prof. Dr. Cherkeh and his sports law team advise and represent numerous federal and state professional associations, league associations, (state) sports federations and clubs, Bundesliga teams from various sports (including from the football and handball leagues), coaches, cycling teams, team and individual athletes, equestrian athletes as well as major sponsors and marketing agencies from all over Germany and abroad.
